30 Days of Handwritten Verse, day five.
I’m fortunate to live in an area where there are still local hardware stores to be found. Sure, there’s probably a big box not too far away where I could pay a little less, but the big box will rarely compete on service or knowledge. And the money I might save at the Home Depot two towns over isn’t usually worth the money leaving the local economy as a result.
Besides, trying to stump the guys at the local hardware store has become one of my life’s great challenges. And no, I haven’t succeeded with it yet.
