In lieu of a rant about all the dysfunctional political discourse out there — on the radio, cable news, social media, etc. — these two haiku are a set of thought patterns I’ve been contemplating.
The short sermon is that a lot of us engage in flame wars about things we claim we want to change. Unfortunately, flame wars never really help. Instead of helping us communicate and reconcile our differences, they almost always drive the wedge between us deeper.
