One of my favorite projects has been designing thank you cards and note cards based on a haiku I wrote called “Heroes 2.”

The courageous generosity it takes to share your gifts with the world is at the core of heroism. Anyone can do it — no alter ego or costume required.

I still use these cards to pen personal notes to folks I consider heroes. If you’d like to get your hands on a few of these cards to write your own notes of appreciation, let me know and I’ll try to help you out.

Speaking of help, two of the heroes who helped make these cards possible through sharing their gifts are Ben Owen, who raised these cards from a simple design to elegant reality, and Albert Yee, who produced the exquisitely detailed images you see here.

Both of these guys make such incredible art that, after they helped with this card project, I had to have them involved in creating one-of-a-kind wedding invitations and photographic memories of our big day, respectively. My wife and I could not have made choices more worthy of our finest day.
